Announcement - 26/07/20

We are happy to see our members getting back on track with their health and fitness, even in these unprecedented times!

To ensure social distancing measures, we have kept our steam/sauna rooms, showers, lockers and water fountains off. We hope to be able to provide these services to you very soon!
Our staff are always on hand, and have been regularly cleaning and sanitising all equipment. We are pleased to see our members contributing to the cleanliness of the gym by wiping down their equipment after each use. Social distancing has remained important and very doable with our large floor space.
TOWEL USE:
It has been great seeing our members presenting their towels as they have come through reception! In order to effectively cover certain pieces of equipment, we will require all of our members to bring their own regular sized bath towels – not hand towels.
We urge all of our members to continue to be diligent with their own cleaning, and report any instances of other members not doing their part.

With everybody chipping in, we can ensure that Elite Fitness will continue to be a safe and sanitary training space for all!

Announcement in regards to COVID-19

We understand there is significant concern and apprehension about the spread of COVID-19.

We would like to reassure you that providing you with a safe and sanitary training environment will always be our top priority and now even more so at this time.

In addition to our twice-daily general cleaning and disinfecting:

  • Hand sanitiser will be available at reception for all upon entering the gym.
  • More frequent disinfection of machines, equipment, bathrooms, sauna and steam room.
  • We have EIGHT sanitary stations across our gym floor, all equipped with disinfectant sprays and paper towels for sanitising equipment – before and after use. We also ask our members to assist in sanitising after they use equipment.

As a reminder:

  • Use of towels is compulsory. We will be enforcing the no towel, no training rule.
  • If you are feeling unwell, or you have been in direct contact with someone who is unwell, please take a break from your training. The safety of others and their families takes priority over missing a workout.

If you are well, should you train?

The answer is YES! A healthy combination of good diet, exercise and rest helps to boost your immunity, helping you to fight and avoid viruses of all kinds.

If you have any concerns or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us and one of our Elite team members will get back to you as soon as possible.
